Dr. Gia DeGiovanni Miller was born in Panama while her father was serving in the Air Force. The family later transferred to Thailand and Greece, finally settling in Sierra Vista, Arizona, the place she considers her hometown. She attended the University of Arizona under scholarship, graduating with both a B.S. and M.S. in Nutritional Sciences. In 1995 she entered the University of Arizona College of Medicine, graduating in 1999. She subsequently completed her Pediatrics Residency at the same institution in 2002. Her husband’s job brought the family east, where she practiced in Hot Springs, Arkansas, for four years, until moving to Cedar City, Utah, in 2006. Gia is married with three children. She enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
