Taran Hansen was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He graduated from Snow Canyon High School and then served a two-year mission in California where he learned to speak Spanish. He attended Dixie State University and then completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Utah University with a bachelors of science. He then attended the Physician Assistant program at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. He has always loved serving the pediatric community including Big Brothers and the 4-H club and loves Southern Utah. Returning to Cedar City and working at Color Country Pediatrics seemed to be a perfect fit. He loves spending time with his wife Michelle and their two young children in the great outdoors so uniquely located in this great area. If he is not in the clinic he is likely out mountain biking. He has always loved to encourage healthy lifestyles and enjoys teaching his patients about how to stay healthy and avoid chronic disease. He is excited to call Cedar City home and loves getting to meet new people each and every day.
